I picked up one of the Galaxy Tab units. I like the size of the tablet since it fits nicely in your hand.
I did find out shortly after buying it that it did not have the phone software installed on it. This is apparently standard with the North America version of the unit. In order to get the phone software working I had to burn the Russian firmware and then the European firmware onto the unit.
The device is branded as a Rogers tablet, but I now use it as my phone (with a bluetooth headset) through Telus.
